Manual Ringing Telephone Telephone exchange

Manual telephone exchange

Manual desktop telephone exchange with wooden casing, a dial and a Bakelite handset. Manual exchanges were in use from the second half of the 19th century. In Slovenia, the last manual telephone exchange with eight connections ceased operating in September 1987.
Two magneto telephones are connected to the exchange.
The exchange is part of the collection of Museum of Post & Telecommunications.
