Sankyo, established in 1946 in Japan as a music box manufacturer, began in 1957 the production of 8mm movie cameras and projectors. Super 8mm film cameras were first manufactured in 1965 by Kodak, and Sankyo launched the same years cameras and projectors for this new amateur film format.
This projector weights 8kg and measures 19 x 22,4 x 32,4 cm.

With this automatic loading machine, the film is automatically placed in a slot on the empty reel. The projection can begin.
