Perkun combustion engine

The sound of Perkun combustion engine in operation. The recording was realized in the National Museum of Agriculture and Agricultural-Food Industry in Szreniawa (Poland).
Combustion engine, single cylinder, two stroke, with hot bulb ignition. Power 5.1 kW (7 HP) at 550 rpm. Cooled with water from external reservoir. Diesel or kerosene powered.
In the interwar period, Perkun Motor Construction Association was in operation, producing engines for fishing boats and smaller vessels. Perkun motorcycle was also the Association’s creation. Preserved Perkun engines are very rare.
