Nintendo 64 Super Mario 64

This is the classic sound of first inserting the cartridge containing the game, then flicking the switch to start the console and eventually hear and see the games intro and then the menu.

The Nintendo 64 was introduced in 1996 (1997 for Europe) and was called such for the manufacturer, Nintendo, and for the 64-bit central processing unit which it houses. For its time the graphic was highly advanced and it was fast. It was favored by many and became immensely popular; the sales of the console finally ended in 2002 and it was the major console for one of the most popular games of all time - the Super Mario 64.

The Super Mario 64 game revolutionized the way a camera is operated within the game, granting full 3D view of throughout the entire game. The platformer game has been called the greatest game of all time by many, and is still held in high regard to this day and is immensely popular. The game is set in Princess Peach's Castle, whom has been kidnaped by the evil Bowser and must be rescued by Mario via going through several different courses.
