Graffiti artist painting a wall in a city

Graffiti artist Tomi Lastunen painting a transformer house wall. Lastunen is a well known street artist who also has taught graffiti painting in schools. During the summer 2019 Lastunen and his friends have painted around 100 transformer boxes around the city in cooperation with children's culture society SirkusRakkausPumPum, Tampere Electricity Network, Tampere Art Museum and Cultural Education Unit TAITE.

In 2017 at nearby Hiedanranta (old paper mill area in Lielahti) there was a huge international street art event called Spraycankontrol / Meeting of Styles. For one week street artists from Finland and six different other countries painted thousands of squaremeters of old factory walls in monumental scale inside Hiedanranta factory area, which has made the area a showcase of graffiti works and different styles ever since.

At sound recording there is in addition to the actual painting sounds also street sounds from nearby streets.
