Electric gantry crane, MINOR 500/2
The sound: The electric motor which lifts or lowers the pulley attached to the crane’s boom is activated by pushing the button on the control panel.
This crane was manufactured by Vulkan in Rijeka (Croatia) after WWII and is still in operation. It is used for lifting and holding steam locomotive connecting & coupling rods for drilling and boring, and it is located next to the power drill in the old locomotive workshops in Ljubljana.
