Filling up the Fuel Tank
In the recording you can hear the filling of a car fuel tank. In the background there is heavy traffic with cars…

The Volkswagen Beetle in the recording is the property of Anja Tomažin from Ljubljana who affectionately calls him ‘Carlos’. This is the story Anja told us: "Carlos is a Mexican who arrived to Slovenia via Austria. I found it at my garage when shocked at the amount of money required for the restoration of my former Beetle (the "German" Zvonko). He was literally falling apart, so I investigated other options. Carlos is one year older than me and fitted with a restored engine from my former Beetle (Carlos was originally fitted with a 1200 cm3 engine but now has 1600 cm3). This is the first time it will have a major repair since I've owned it; I'll replace the rusty side skirts. It is ideal for my drives across Slovenia and also trips abroad a few times a year."
Data on “Carlos”:
Year of manufacture: 1984 (Mexico)
Engine: 1600 cm3
Engine output: 25 kW
Date of the first registration: 24 August 1984
Date of the first registration in Slovenia: 20 July 2009
