Kansi And Areena Construction Site

Over the railway, near the Tampere train station, a complex of buildings called Kansi is being built. The complex will have offices, shops, hotels, marketplaces and a brand new arena called Areena.

The multi-use arena is going to be nearly 50.000m2 large with more than 10.000 seats inside. The entire complex is going to be 110.000m2 and the costs are more than 500 million euros.
Construction will end in autumn 2021.
