Approaching Thunder in Lotinankoski
In this soundscape you can hear the approaching thunder in Lotinankoski rapids. The constant and dominating sound of this recording is the rapids that flows underneath a bridge.
In the background you can hear the rumbling thunder and some animal related sounds like shrieks of the seagulls and buzzing of a fly.
Lotinankoski rapids was the source of power for the nearby Möhkö ironworks. Because of the 2,5 meters height difference in the rapids it could produce 1260 horsepower.
