Wola Duchacka bus depot – a rotary lift

About the sound

Sounds recorded when lifting and lowering a Solaris Urbino 12.9 Hybrid by means of a rotary lift. When the bus is up, works that are difficult to be done in the inspection pit are possible.

The sounds were recorded in the main repair hall at Wola Duchacka depot in Krakow. The facility was opened in 1980 and since then it has been the largest bus depot in Krakow. On the premises there are repair halls, a bus wash, a bus park, a petrol station, an electric bus charging station, a waiting room for drivers and offices.
