About the sound
The Goričane company originates from one of the oldest Slovenian paper mills, established in 1740. The company has been producing paper at its present location since 1788. From 1890 until the end of the 20th century, the company also produced chemical woodpulp; however, it discontinued pulp production; due to its strategic decision to be an environment-friendly paper manufacturer. Today, the company produces mostly high-quality woodfree papers.
In the drying group we have as many as 24 drying cylinders. The maximum amount of energy is expended here for drying and the greatest quantity of water is drained off.
