Beetle Car Engine Volkswagen

Volkswagen Beetle – engine

The Volkswagen Beetle in the recording is the property of Anja Tomažin from Ljubljana who affectionately calls him ‘Carlos’. This is the story Anja told us: "Carlos is a Mexican who arrived to Slovenia via Austria. I found it at my garage when shocked at the amount of money required for the restoration of my former Beetle (the "German" Zvonko). He was literally falling apart, so I investigated other options. Carlos is one year older than me and fitted with a restored engine from my former Beetle (Carlos was originally fitted with a 1200 cm3 engine but now has 1600 cm3). This is the first time it will have a major repair since I've owned it; I'll replace the rusty side skirts. It is ideal for my drives across Slovenia and also trips abroad a few times a year."
Data on “Carlos”:
