Turku Castle was built in the late 13th century being one of the oldest buildings still in use in Finland. The castle has served as a museum since the 1800’s.

It is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Finland with over 140000 visitors annually.

This soundscape was recorded at the castle’s courtyard. In the recording you can hear Asian visitors talking and people walking on the echoing paved yard.
