Bulwary Wislane Kazimierz Krakow river embankments

The river Wisla embankments near Father Bernatek’s pedestrian bridge

The recording was made on the cobbled drive from ulica Podgórska to the river Wisła boulevards. You can hear the sounds of pedestrians, cyclists, but also the clatter of trams going across the nearby Piłsudski bridge. Today, the drive is for pedestrians, but in the early 20th century, it was intended as part of the flood protection system and to facilitate the transport of goods from the Wisła riverbank.
