The sound of performing belt loops. The sound was recorded in the Pursemaker Shop at 42 Hoża Street in Warsaw (Poland).
Leather belt has been placed on a steel pad. Pursemaker performs belt loops by applying a metal peg on the leather and hitting it with a hammer.
In the shop at Hoża Street, watch and clothes belts are handmade in accordance with the craftsmanship tradition. Watch belts are usually manufactured from gentle goatskin and calfskin leather while trouser belts from buff leather. Customers may choose from the available belts or place a special order. Other services provided in the shop include repairing and replacing e.g. purse straps.
