Nintendo 64 Lego Racers

This is the classic sound of first inserting the cartridge containing the game, then flicking the switch to start the console and eventually hear and see the games intro and then the menu.

The Nintendo 64 was introduced in 1996 (1997 for Europe) and was called such for the manufacturer, Nintendo, and for the 64-bit central processing unit which it houses. For its time the graphic was highly advanced and it was fast. It was favored by many and became immensely popular; the sales of the console finally ended in 2002 and it was the major console for one of the most popular games of all time - the Super Mario 64.

However, this sound is from another game - Lego Racers which was released in 1999. It is as the name implies, a racing game which uses lego cars and lego tracks. The user can build a very own car out of different lego sets and drive with, as well as building a unique character.
