Krakow Cloth Hall in Christmas time
Soundscape of the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) during the Christmas market in Krakow.
Cloth Hall, located in the heart of the Krakow central square (Rynek Glowny), is one of the city's most recognizable icons. The building dates to Renaissance, although it has been rebuilt several times over the centuries. Nowadays there are two museums in the Cloth Hall (gallery of 19th century Polish paintings and underground exposition about medieval Krakow), restaurants and coffee shops as well. In the arcade visitors can buy traditional souvenirs and have the experience of shopping in what is basically a 500-year old shopping mall.
The sound was recorded on Wednesday, December 13th in the afternoon.
