Asphalt part 1: Noise reducing
The city of Linköping (Sweden) have experimented with a kind of noise reducing asphalt. The idea is that this asphalt can replace noise barrier walls for sound reduction. The asphalt is located at “Industrigatan” in Linköping between “Ryds motionscentrum” and “Barhäll”.
For reference listen to: Asphalt part 2 with a recording of ordinary (not noise reducing) asphalt from the same road. Also uploaded (asphalt part 3) is a file that have the noise reducing asphalt in the left channel and the ordinary asphalt in the right channel (best to use headphones).
